The Capital
The City
While I do write a lot of things, I am primarily a fiction writer. My aim for Germanicus Publishing is to build my library of works, establish my credentials as a writer, and promote my books.
So far, I have two books to my name. The most recent is Book 1 of The Santara Commentaries. This is a fantasy story surrounding the Santara Archipelago and the Sons of Yakob’s struggle for freedom.
The Santara Commentaries, Book 1: The Padri is available on Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble, and many other platforms. For more information, check out the post below:
The other one is Inquisitor’s Promise, a grand space opera story about a young Inquisitor, Aeneas Aquilanus, as he journeys across the politically charged landscape of 74th century Earth. Follow Aeneas on his mission to unite the fractured Holy League, defeat the apocalyptic threat of the Grey Globe, and fulfill the promise he had made to his beloved Galatea.
Inquisitor’s Promise can be found on Amazon, Lulu, Laterpress, Barnes & Noble, and many other platforms. For more information, check out the post below:
Also, watch the book trailer:
In addition to all this, my novels are also available to purchase as PDF and ePUB on Buy Me a Coffee.
MPM/GCP Books
The Indonesian part of the capital, MPM/GCP Books is my own little shop that I’ve set up. This is the store for those in Indonesia to buy my books. Be sure the select the right store:
The Suburbs
Now it’s time to leave the main city and go into the suburbs of the Germanicus Capital Territory. The suburbs serve as the home of this Substack’s paid content. The main draw is the E-Book Section, where paid subscribers can download the PDF version of my books.

The Free Cities
Before we get to the provinces, we need to cover the free cities. These refer to the audio division of the empire, AKA Audio Germanicus. Check out the first episode of this podcast here:
Audio Germanicus is also available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Inner Provinces
Now let’s get to the meat of this Substack. In Germanicus Publishing, I write both fiction and nonfiction. Let’s start with the fiction-side of things. These are the Inner Provinces of the empire. There are currently six Inner Provinces of the Germanicus Fiction Empire: The Santara Commentaries, The UEC Stories, Inquisitor’s Promise, Holy League, Flash Fiction, and Microfiction.
The Santara Commentaries
Also known as Santara for short, my ongoing serial is a high fantasy series taking place in the aforementioned Santara Archipelago. Start reading here:
The Table of Contents can be found below. And while reading, feel free to consult the pronunciation guide:
The UEC Stories
A new addition to the Inner Provinces of the Germanicus Fiction Empire. At the moment, it’s very much a work-in-progress. For more details, click below:
Inquisitor’s Promise
My debut novel was first published as a serialized series here in Substack. The Table of Contents can be found below. But be aware that this is not the Definitive Edition of Inquisitor’s Promise.
In addition, check out these posts to learn more about the characters and the world of Inquisitor’s Promise:
Holy League
The Holy League Universe is the name of the expanded universe upon which Inquisitor’s Promise is but a piece of the tapestry. Short stories and serials made up 14,000 years of history. For more information, check out its introductory post:
The following are examples of the stories found in this universe:
Flash Fiction
These are the standalone stories I have posted on Substack. Most of the stories here are less than 1,000 words in length. So this is the place for quick reads. Here are a few examples:
Microfiction
These are standalone stories made up of 100 words or less. Unlike the others, these stories have been published collectively as they are originally posted elsewhere, such as Notes. Begin here:
Outer Provinces
So those were the inner provinces, my works of fiction. Now let’s get to the Outer Provinces. These are my fiction-based nonfiction work which include reviews, articles, and personal logs. Four provinces made up the outer reaches of Germanicus-proper: Fiction Analysis, Articles, NaNoWriMo, and Writers’ Resources.
Fiction Analysis
This is my review series analyzing various books in-depth. I only put in books that I’ve enjoyed in this series, so consider being included in Fiction Analysis to be a recommendation. Below are two of my favorites. Spoiler alert, of course.
Articles
Occasionally, I get the mood to write articles. These are my commentaries on either fiction or culture. Or both.
NaNoWriMo
This is where you can find my personal logs as I tackle the 2023 National Novel Writing Month challenge. Below is the first log:
Writers’ Resources
The newest outer province added to the Germanicus Fiction Empire. It is also a unique one, as I won’t be emailing anything from there. Why? Because these are the stuff I wrote for fellow writers in Substack. If you are one, I hope you’ll find them useful.
Colonies and Vassal States
But the Germanicus Fiction Empire is not limited to just this publication. My works can be found elsewhere. Those include:
- , a collaborative sci-fi project with His Majesty the Peasant-King of the Gibberish Kingdom.
- . This is my personal blog. While non-fiction, I consider it to be a vassal state of the Germanicus Fiction Empire. Why? Because the best way to understand the art is to learn about the artist.
- is the recently established poetry division of the Empire.
- , a WIP colony.
Flash Fiction Stories published by Silence and Starsong.
My review of the video game Pokémon UNITE at Catholic Game Reviews.
Small trading posts at Substack Notes, Twitter, Goodreads, Instagram, YouTube, and NightCafe.
