Guess I'm not the only one annoyed by people liking/commenting the Note but not the article linked by it. :)
Anyways, I'm also not looking forward to the "Twitterization" of Substack. I completely agree with the Note you put up about banning people posting political baits. That's the kind of gatekeeping we need.
The caveat should be that being banned from Notes shouldn't lead to being banned from the entirety of Substack. I'm pretty sure that's the case given how Substack works but I'm not 100% on that. As someone who has a short-form review series on Twitter, it annoys me that I could lose my whole body of work just for saying the wrong thing. I don't want that with Substack.

I've been publishing long form content for a while now, but I have yet to receive any of these pithy contents. lol.
I don't necessarily want the dopamine hit, as much as I want my work to inspire some conversation.
I want to see the replies full of what people liked or didn't like. But that's just me.
