I enjoyed the world building - and the sustained sense of hopelessness- a little to much exposition leading to a lot of tell and not a lot of show… hard to do within the story parameters you’ve set yourself- I would like to know more about her rather than the what of the situation- why do we care, why her , why now… why this day in the cell over all others. Look forward to the next story.
