How two seemingly unrelated things put the lie to 'get woke, go broke'.

What do these two have in common?

One of the things that I’ve often heard in right-wing circles about the sorry state of our popular culture is ‘get woke, go broke’. I’m not going to get into it because I think most people know what it means. Readers who read my Twitter feed will figure that I’m not the biggest of that phrase.

And they would be right. The author and YouTuber David V. Stewart has a good video on why ‘get woke, go broke’ is a total cope. The phrase ‘invoking Mammon to spite Moloch’ is about as succinct as one can put it.
